End of Summer Giveaway!

As the summer draws to a close and we get closer to whitetail and duck season here in the South, we thought we should do another giveaway. We’ve got some Tanglefree decoys to giveaway again. We’ve heard great things from past winners of these decoys and our team plans on using them this season!

I was hunting for pheasants and some mallards were flying overhead. With only my voice I belted out “aint-aint-aint” and one male mallard circled towards me. I shot him at 35 yards he fell within cattle pasture about 40 yards away. I went to retrieve the mallard and a black angus bull charged me. I had my hunting buddy go to the far end of the pasture to attract the bull away from me and the mallard. I sprinted out to the dead mallard retrieving him and sprinted back to the fence just seconds before the bull charged me again with steam blowing from his nostrils. My buddy was laughing his head off, but I got the mallard. That was the first mallard I ever shot and still remember the details 35 years later.
