Unsuccessful First Deer Hunt

We did a two day hunt in Kentucky this past weekend and saw a fair amount of deer but no shooters. Well that was until the cameraman and I split up – The first morning we (cameraman and myself) sat in a treestand and watched two doe and a small 8 point walk under our stand. We heard some turkeys working their way down the hill in front of us until they made is about 30 yards to our right to eat some corn.

The next morning we agreed to spread out over the property and I would go to the latter stand and my cameraman would go to the tripod stand up the hill. Well you know what happens…I see nothing with my bow and my cameraman saw a giant 10 point. Only thing he shot it with was a Mini_DV tape. I’ll show some footage.

We’re heading out again in early November before duck season to see if we can’t find the 10 point. Attached are some pictures we got during the hunt.
